The wall must be dry, free of dust and coarse paint, use polyurethane silicone: apply it to the back of the skirting board with a continuous bead, maintain a minimum grout joint of 2 mm between one skirting board and the next, grout joint with cement grout in any colour, also grout the top of the skirting board.
